Business and Professional leaders joining together to make an impact on our local and global communities. Learn how we can do more with you!
Rotary International is the world’s first service club. The first club was the Rotary Club of Chicago, Illinois, USA. The club was formed February 23, 1905 by lawyer Paul Harris and three friends. The name “Rotary” was derived from the early practice of rotating meetings among the members’ offices.
The Rotary Club Springdale, Arkansas, is an affiliate of Rotary International. We are an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Members have the option of attending either Monday noon or Thursday morning meetings.
Springdale Monday noon meeting is held at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Springdale. Doors open at 11:30 AM, program begins at noon. The Thursday Morning Meeting is held at Spring Street Grill in downtown Springdale. Thursday doors open at 7:30 AM, program begins at 7:45 AM.
Springdale Rotary was chartered in 1923. Throughout its history, the club has maintained an impressive commitment to camaraderie among its members and service to the community. The Rotary Club of Springdale Charitable Trust Foundation is a vehicle by which the long-term viability of the Rotary Club of Springdale can be sustained. Our projects are funded through the Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit entity.
The Rotary Club of Springdale, with nearly 200 members, is active locally and globally by providing service in many areas. These areas are listed in our projects including but not limited to: the Burlsworth Trophy, 3rd grade literacy, Wheelchairs and many more. Check out our project pages to learn more.
